PHOTOREFRACTIVE KERATECTOMY (PRK) is an FDA approved laser refractive surgery which involves removal of thin outer layer of cornea and reshaping the underlying corneal tissue with excimer laser.

FEMTO LASIK

It involves usage of femtosecond laser to create a thin flap in the cornea, followed by reshaping of underlying corneal tissue using excimer laser.

CONTOURA VISION (TOPO GUIDED ABALATION)

Its an advanced and customised laser refractive procedure, it involves topolyzer to map the unique irregularities of the cornea, followed by creating a customized treatment plan for each patient, resulting in a more precise and personalized laser refractive procedure.

PHAKIC IOL (ICL & IPCL)

It involves implantation of artificial lens in the eye (between iris and human crystalline lens i.e sulcus) for candidates who are not suitable for laser refractive procedures.

INDICATIONS FOR PHAKIC IOL:

• 1. Patients with thin corneas

• 2. High myopes (> -6-8 D)

• 3. Patients with corneal pathology (like keratoconus)

How does it work?

It’s a patented technology by ZEIMER OPHTHALMIC SYSTEMS, Switzerland. It is done by using FEMTO LDV Z8 machine, involving creation and removal of small disc shaped corneal tissue (LENTICULE) through a micro incision using FEMTOSECOND laser.
